The VoIP Daughter Board Card gives your DSX phone system VoIP capabilities. It provides four IP gateway ports and is expandable through licensing.
DSX VoIP Features
- Installs in DSX-40 KSU or on DSX-80/160 CPU
- DSX System Software should be 3.33 or higher for all VoIP applications
- Maximum (1) VoIP Daughter Board per system
Provides VoIP gateway ports for:
- SIP Trunk
- DSX VoIP telephone
- Standard SIP telephone
- Standard SIP softphone
- Standard SIP ATA (Analog Terminal Adapter)
Maximum of (32) VoIP telephone extensions per DSX-40 or DSX-80/160 system, although IP extension access to voice mail, CO/SIP trunks, and analog/digital telephones is limited by available VoIP gateway ports.

DSX-40
- DSX-80/160 allows 8 gateway ports maximum
- 4 ports on the VoIP Daughter + (1) 4-port licenses = 8 ports
DSX-80 / DSX-160
- DSX-80/160 allows 16 gateway ports maximum
- 4 ports on the VoIP Daughter + (3) 4-port licenses = 16 ports
